This is our chocolate cake recipe layered in between two vanilla cake layers.
The mother of my colleague at work turned 60 and she wanted to surprise her mom with a special cake in her mom's favorite color. This was our second attempt at the fondant bow and it looks so much better than the last. This is definitely the most elegant birthday cake we've ever made, I hope she loves it.
